The last 18 months have been a crazy busy time for me. My journey in wine has taken me in places I never dreamed about when I was figuring out my life way back when.
I completed my WSET Level 3 certification and have started the WSET Diploma (Level 4). That broad background has helped me build a framework which is flourishing my passion for this world. In the fall of 2023, I had the fortune of taking a paid 9-week sabbatical from my current day job to go experience working in the wine industry. I spent that time learning, working, and making great friends during harvest out in eastern Washington. I loved being a wine production intern! When I wasn't working harvest, I spent time in the tasting room talking with customers about wine. I continued those conversations as I returned home. You can find me in the Woodinville Wine Warehouse District pouring wine and teaching courses.
Looking forward, you will see a regular flow of updates - probably about one every two weeks. What started as an interest has grown to a passion. That passion may one day become a vocation. I am excited to be on this journey and to share it with you. More soon.
